Welcome to our annual roller skating party! We pull out all the stops for this one! Dress up in your old gear, pull out a costume from an 80's movie, go disco 70's, or pull out your old 90's gear for one of the best damn parties of the year! We will hit up 3 hours of skating fun and be back to continue the party. Arguably the most fun Best Damn event of the year, BDSP is fun for everyone...even if you can't skate! Invite all of your friends, and all of their friends so we can meet new people and have a blast!

We will bus from the Village Country Club in Dallas. We picked that spot because all of the cars parked there will be as safe as possible. Also, it's centrally located, so it's easy for everyone! The skating goes from 11 PM - 2 AM. We will then bus back to Dallas and be in by 3 AM. Anyone riding the party bus will need to be at the VCC by 9:30 so we can leave on time. We've got your alcohol covered, and we'll even have additional fun items for purchase (hint: jell-o shots)!

The ticket price is only $30*!!!

(discounted tickets will be sold at the door for those not riding the bus)

The Best Damn New Year's Eve Party 2009-10 is almost here, and now is your time to get your ticket, prepare your outfit, and finish up the decade before partying it up, 20's Style! Here's the information you need:

-Cost $70** early bird tickets (price will rise closer to New Year's Eve)
-Open Bar (we have everything!*)
-Champagne Toast at midnight
-Great Gatsby/Roaring 20's/Prohibition Theme
-Free Photo-button maker to capture the memories
-DJ bringing you the hits from the 20's to today!

This party is going off Speakeasy style at one of Dallas' most Speakeasy-resembling bars: Dyer Street Bar

This bar has everything you could want from watching sports games on the weekends, to Trivia on Wednesday nights, to great drinks every night! Just make sure not to tell the 5-0 where the party is, or they might shut us down! Haha, not really. This party is going to be legendary, so tell your friends and let's pack the house! Well, we've finally come to the end of the year! 2008 was a crazy one for Best Damn! We had the River Trip, the Going Away Party, the 80's Birthday Party, and the Halloween Party (collaboration). Now to top it all off, we're throwing the Best Damn New Year's Eve Party! If you are not familiar with Best Damn Parties, we take care of all of the organization and little stuff, so you can sit back and enjoy the party. And we've wasted no time with this one.

Here's what you can expect if you sign up for the New Year's party:
-Entrance to the party at Blue Collar Bar
-Open bar all night provided with wrist band (meaning free alcohol all night)
-Cab voucher so you don't have to drive
-Champagne toast at midnight
-Free Button making for flair!
-Dance floor and club-style music
-Life changing moments

The Theme
This year we have chosen a Black and White New Year's theme. You can wear whatever you like (thanks TI), as long as it's black, white, or a combination of the two. The Venue
Blue Collar Bar is the new up and coming hot spot in uptown off of Henderson Ave and McMillan, right across from Barcadia. Looking for a little old-school flavor with a new-school twist? The Cost
Due to the size of the venue, we are limiting the number of tickets we are going to sell for this event. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you want to go SIGN UP NOW! Ticket sales to our events are unpredictably rapid, and tickets go quickly. So sign up soon to reserve your spot!

Best Damn River Trip
Austin, Tx
July 18 - 20, 2008

SOLD OUT!!!

River Trip is just around the corner! This year is going to be the best trip ever! We are coordinating with a group from Houston, who is doing this for the 5th year in a row. Those who have been on this trip consider it one of the best weekends of the Summer.

Here's what we will provide:
-Luxury bus from Dallas to Austin (and back to Dallas)
-transportation to and from the river
-tube rental
-parking fees
-event t-shirt
-and, uh...BEER!
Cost for this is coming in at around $95/person (final price to be determined)

We have blocked off a large number of rooms at the Hilton Garden Hotel on 6th street in Austin. We chose this location because of it's proximity to 4th and 6th streets. All nightlife is within walking distance (or a shorter catamaran ride). You can easily fit 4 to a room to cut down on costs. Cost per night is about $120.

On behalf of the BDSP committee: Matt, Stevie, Ben, Phil, and Chris, we want to thank everyone that was a part of the greatest skate party of the year!

You guys all came dressed and ready, everyone looked great, and the party went off without a hitch and mishap free! You all made it happen, and for that, you are all rockstars!

We are going to set up a Photobucket account for all the party pics. As soon as we get the pics back from the professionals, we will upload those and send out the login information so anyone who has pics can go in and upload theirs as well. Stay posted for that info.

A word on attire...

This party is going out 80's style! Dress up in your favorite 80's gear: mullets, hawks, big hair, crazy colors, torn shirts, gloves, red leather jackets and ladies, don't forget the rubber bracelets! Come as you are, or someone else...movie themed costume, TV themed outfit, or just the clothes you wore in gradeschool. We will have awards for best costume by theme, stay posted for all that info and more.

BDSP stands for Best Damn Skate Party, 2007. We're planning an all-out 80's themed skate party. It will take place at Interskate Roller Rink in Lewisville on Sunday, September 2 (Labor Day Weekend).
